Privacy Policy

Your files never leave your browser. Ever. This is our core privacy commitment.

At QuickKit, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what happens to your files and data when you use our services.

1. File Processing Privacy

Traditional utility sites upload your files to their servers for processing. QuickKit does not upload your files. All file transformations, compressions, resizing, and conversions take place 100% locally on your computer using native web APIs (like Canvas API, WebAssembly, and local decoders).

2. Data Storage (IndexedDB & LocalStorage)

We use client-side database engines (IndexedDB and localStorage) to cache your workspace shelf items and recent task logs. This data is stored entirely on your computer's hard drive inside your browser cache. We have no access to this database, and it is cleared automatically when you clear your browser history or click "Clear Shelf" in our sidebar.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We may use cookies or lightweight privacy-first analytics tools to understand where our visitors come from and compile aggregated traffic reports. We do not track individuals, and we do not sell your information.

4. Contact Us

If you have questions about our offline architecture, you can contact us at privacy@quickkit.io.
